No, there is no minimum or fixed attendance defined within the program. Every grant is free to use the studios in accordance to their demand and schedule.
Is it required to relocate to Düsseldorf?
No, it is not required to relocate to Düsseldorf for the time of the program.
Every grant holder is flexible to join the program even living abroad. The grant holder is free to decide how they will manage and “live” their participation in the program in terms of local presence. Generally it is possible to live abroad and to join the studios only for certain timeframes.
However, we strongly recommend using the studios as much as possible in order to gain the network with the others artists. Furthermore all defined program elements need to be fulfilled professionally by every grant holder.
